NEW PROPANE-POWERED ZERO TURN FROM SNAPPER PRO FEATURES AUTOMOTIVE-LIKE STARTING (October 29, 2009)

For Immediate Release

Munnsville, NY (October 29, 2009) - The new Snapper Pro S200xp propane-powered zero-turn mower offers automotive-like starting with no need for a choke. Touting a dedicated propane engine, not a converted gasoline engine, the S200xp features a Briggs & Stratton 895cc Vanguard™ BIG BLOCK™

“The engine is specially designed with vapor draw fuel tanks to assure consistent and hassle free operation,” says Bill Shea, vice president of sales & marketing, commercial products for the Briggs & Stratton Yard Power Products Group. “The maintenance-free carburetor is also designed specifically for propane use.”

The drive system on the S200xp is a dual path hydrostatic system which provides smooth, reliable operation. Each drive wheel is independently powered by a fan-cooled pump and wheel motor.

The mower deck is a 61” iCD™ Cutting System, featuring cast-iron greaseable spindles for longer life. A new easy-to-use deck lift takes the effort out of adjusting the cutting height. Cutting height ranges from 1.5” to 5.0” in 0.25” increments.
