SNAPPER PRO ADDS A NEW COMMERCIAL WALK-BEHIND WITH DUAL HYDROSTATIC DRIVE TO ITS LINEUP (October 29, 2009)

For Immediate Release

Munnsville, NY (October 29, 2009) - The new Snapper SW30 features a dual hydrostatic drive system and comfortable controls. With superior tracking on slopes and easy maneuvering around trees, landscaping and other obstacles, it holds up under even the most demanding mowing conditions.

There are four SW30 models featuring Kawasaki engines from which to choose: an 18-hp unit with 52" deck, a 20-hp unit with 52" deck, a 20-hp unit with 61" deck and a 26-hp model with 61" deck. All mowing decks are fabricated 10-gauge steel with double top deck, overlap welded corners and double reinforced side skirts with a steel reinforced leading edge.

Self-contained dual hydro transmissions are individually fan-cooled and filtered. Dual hydro fluid reservoirs protect each hydro-system from cross contamination.

"The SW30 is extremely comfortable to operate and easy to use," says Bill Shea, vice president of sales & marketing, commercial products for the Briggs & Stratton Yard Power Products Group. "You can set your own speed with the Cruise Control Bar, change direction quickly from left to right with conveniently located hand controls, or simply pull the handles up completely for reverse."

Prices for the SW30 start at $4599.00. For more information or to find your local Snapper Pro dealer, visit www.snapperpro.com.
