Snapper Pro Introduces New Commercial Walk-Behinds At GIE+EXPO

MILWAUKEE, WI (October 22, 2014) –The new Snapper Pro SW35CC commercial walk-behind mower meets the demands of professional mowing crews. This dual hydrostatic machine offers powerful engine options paired with 48”, 52” or 61” mowing decks and offers newly designed Centralized Control handlebars.

“The new controls are ergonomically designed so that operators experience less fatigue,” says Bill Shea, Vice President of Commercial Sales for the Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group. “They provide improved hand positioning for maneuvering around trees, fences and other obstacles. They are also more efficient than traditional pistol grip controls for operators using a sulky attachment,” he adds. Engine options include a 26 gross hp1 Vanguard™ 810cc or a 28-gross hp1 Vanguard™ 810cc EFI , a 20.5-gross hp2 Kawasaki FX651V or a 23.5-gross hp2 Kawasaki FX730V. Dual commercial Hydro-Gear® ZT-3100 transaxles with 7” cooling fans are standard on all models.

The 10-gauge steel decks feature aluminum greaseable spindles. The drive belt system is designed to provide uniform belt tension which improves belt life and reduces maintenance. A deck mounting system makes leveling the deck a simple process and a quick-adjust handle allows the operator to change cutting heights, from 1.5 to 5 inches, in one easy step. Large 20" tires enable climbing over curbs and rough terrain along with reducing deck bounce for consistent cut.

A two-year limited warranty on the machine provides unlimited hours the first 24 months.3 Prices range from $5,599.00 to $6,899.00.4 Visit for more information.
