MILWAUKEE (Oct. 23, 2013) – The Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group LLC introduced its new Snapper Pro S125xt commercial zero turn mower to dealers and commercial cutters at GIE+EXPO 2013. Four models are available starting with a 25-gross hp unit with 52” mowing deck at a retail price of approximately $5,799.00.1
“The new Snapper Pro S125xt fills the gap between the more compact S50xt and more robust S150xt zero turn,” says Bill Shea, vice president, commercial sales. “Touting a choice of commercial grade engines and cutting decks, the S125xt is a rugged cutting machine at a very cost-competitive price.”
Users can select from 25- or 27-gross hp2 Briggs & Stratton Commercial Turf Series™ engines or 23- or 24-gross hp3 Kawasaki FS engines. The drive system features dual, Hydro-Gear® commercial ZT-3400 transaxles with 7” cooling fans. The unit mows up to 10 mph.
The S125xt is available with either a 52” (23- or 25-hp models) or 61” iCD Cutting System™ with striping kit. A foot-operated deck lift, with adjustable pedal, can change cutting height in ¼” increments from 1.5” to 5.0”
Heavy-duty 1.5” x 2.0” frame rails are made from 11-gauge steel and combine with an impact resistant 5.5-gallon fuel tank for dependability. A 180 degree folding Roll Over Protection System with retractable seatbelt is standard.
The machine features a 2+2 year limited commercial warranty; the engine warranty is for 3 years (visit www.snapperpro.com for details).
